I have built my own stock back testing at tick level replay. I never saw this video before, what I discovered was the primary problem with indicators are they are not elastic on the timeline, or another way to put it is they do not take patterns into consideration that do not fit into absolute timelines. And the second part is the resolution, you need tick level to really back test. I tried 1 second and that creates noise. Currently I am trying a different approach of non-static indicators (it follows patterns than periods). Worst part of it all is the back testing out there. no library really does tick level resolution. And the horrendous speed to be able to back test a years worth of volatile stock which is on an average 1000 per month minimum. Initially tired the python since so many are available on it. ultimately understood there is no way to get to any answer with that horrible language and its speed. So shifted back to java which did not have any good back tester and charting (well there is motive wave but back testing speed and flexibility for selected list of stocks and days is just terrible). So had to take ta4j rewrite it for pure performance and tick handling and write my own charting using echarts. Now finally I have setup that can back test 10000 stock days/ years' worth in a minute. It makes trying every option so much faster. I am actually testing to model your trading rules of higher highs and entry on dip while rising. Will have an answer in 2 days

but isn't the settlement at end of day. So for Monday trade the settlement happens on Tuesday evening at 5 pm. If so would that not mean that the trade is not settled during Tuesday trading hours? and you are not allowed to trade with it on Tuesday. India is moving to T+0 now what would be allow trading on Tuesday

That's because the market as a whole pulled back, so if you're attempting to go long, you are fighting against the trend. So Ross, trade stocks like you normally do when the market is green or choppy, but trade futures when it's red. Come on man, you've got to change with the times!

I did not trade today because the market was just not what i needed it to be. Everything i tried to set myself up with was a b or c at best, and i just declined to risk today.

Suggest you redo your video, as you are saying that the open is on the right of the pattern. It is on the left of a green candle. We read left to right not right to left, so that point where you state the open on the right, is technically wrong. However, I really like the video otherwise. There are some real gems in it, if people pay attention.
